My SEPA transfer has failed. What now?

If a transfer has not reached your intended recipient, we may attempt to cancel or reverse the transfer.

The most common reasons for a failed transfer are as follows:
  • The recipient's name on the transfer order is different from the account holder's name.
  • The IBAN was entered incorrectly.
  • The name of a company is given as the recipient instead of a personal name.
